Exercise Setup

Task Comments

1. Create a Station Hunt Group using a valid pilot

number. Name the Hunt group Sales.

2. In the order given, put the following numbers in the

hunt group member list:

If grayed out you must click on Apply. Or you may have

selected a Search Type in which case you will have to

disable the Search Type and then click Apply to gain

access to the Member Field.

4. Assign 1001 to the Overflow destination.

5. Assign a Call Advance Time of 10 seconds; The

Overflow Time 30 seconds.

6. Assign a Distributed Search Type.

Make this the last thing you do.

When you are online programming you must turn off the

Search Type in order to make changes to the Hunt

Group Member list.

Testing the Setup

Task Expected Results

1. Dial the hunt group pilot number from station 1004. The call should hunt through the group before ending at

the Overflow destination.

If the hunt does not occur, check make sure a Search

type has been selected.
